UK National Contact Centre Awards Winners Celebratory Event

Earlier this month we held a celebratory event for the winners from the UK National Contact Centre Awards at The Gherkin in London.

It was great to hear everyone’s personal stories of their experience of the judging process and the gala dinner, and hear how their success had been celebrated back in their organisation.

We also shared with them the judges collective view of the attributes they observed of this years winners, they included:

 

•Have a broad set of skills, not just playing in people space

 

•Are strong at relationship building/stakeholder management

 

•Consider the impact on the front line when making decisions

 

•Understand the commercial impacts of decisions

 

•Take ownership of fixing key process failures

 

•Build strong teams around them

 

•Understand the need for succession planning

 

•Network inside and outside of the organisation

 

•Are innovative, whilst keeping things simple

 

•Have a structured approach for listening to their people

 

•Know what they want to achieve and have a plan

 

•Care passionately about their people and their organisation
