Training courses in partnership with Cancer Support UK
With cancer affecting 1 in 2 of us, coming into contact with customers and colleagues that have been affected by it is inevitable. As conversations about cancer become increasingly common, it is important that you and your team are equipped to navigate them effectively.
The CCMA has partnered with Cancer Support UK to provide a three-hour workshop to help contact centre management improve their knowledge and understanding in being able to communicate about cancer.
The training is delivered virtually for groups of up to 15 delegates from the same organisation, and covers the following areas and more:
- Basic cancer awareness
- Side effects of cancer and cancer treatments
- Physical and emotional side effects of cancer
- Confidence in talking to people living with cancer
- What’s helpful to say and what’s not so helpful
- Looking after your own emotional wellbeing
Cancer Support UK trainers have extensive experience of delivering cancer information and awareness to a wide range of audiences.
