The Impact of GDPR on Contact Centres

28th June 2017

We are leaving the European Union (EU) but some EU law will carry on, with significant consequences for our industry. One such law is the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). If businesses wish to avoid some potentially eye-watering fines, they need to be compliant no later than May 2018.

A March survey of IT decision makers in UK companies by information management firm Crown Records Management found an extraordinary 44 per cent believe GDPR will not apply to UK business after Brexit. Twenty-four per cent are no longer preparing for it, while some 4 per cent have not even begun to prepare.

Join your industry peers at this half day seminar to find out more about the potential impact on your organisation and how others are preparing for the change.

During the seminar we will:

  • Understand more about GDPR and the impact it will have on your contact centre operation
  • Listen from Global Law Firm DLA Piper on their views of the impact
  • Hear from Fraud industry experts CIFAS on new data breach strategies from criminals
  • Explore GDPR during roundtable discussions with your peers to understand how they are preparing their organisation.

During this workshop Pindrop will also share the most recent research on Contact Centre Fraud and explore some of the actions that you need to take to ensure that your organisation is protected, without making the experience painful for your customers.

This event will be of interest to: Contact Centre Leaders, Fraud and Risk Managers, Customer Experience Professionals, Quality Managers, Data Managers.

Location: Central London

The timings for this event are: 10.00am to 3.00pm
