Barclays Bank member visit, Sunderland

Barclays bank provides services for over 48 Million customers worldwide. The contact centre is home to over 1500 employees and has been recognised in Contact Centre of the Year category at the North East Contact Centre Awards for the last four years. Christine Allenson, Site President and Head of Moment Banking was awarded the accolade of ‘Contact Centre Manager of the Year’ for large contact centres at the UK National Contact Centre Awards in May 2015.

Barclays are leading the way in digital and have successfully launched Webchat, social media, and video banking for their customers. The site recently became the first banking contact centre in the UK to introduce Barclays Video Banking: a new concept allowing customers to interact face-to-face with a Barclays colleague through their computer, tablet or smartphone, wherever they are in the world with an internet connection.

They will share with you the drivers for launching each channel, their experiences and importantly their ‘lessons learnt’
