What happens then?

Once you have put in your nomination and been short listed you will be contacted by one of the judging panel to arrange a visit. There will normally be two judges attending each visit.

Each judging visit will last between 60 and 90 minutes and will include:

  • Tour of the call centre with the nominee
  • Structured interview with nominee
  • Short interview with the nominee's immediate manager
  • Short interviews with some of the nominee's direct reports

The judges will be looking to make an assessment of each nominee across seven areas:

  • Current role and personal progression
  • Performance of the work area that you are responsible for
  • Recruitment, training and development
  • People and communication
  • Policies and legislation
  • Planning and technology
  • Culture

The judges would also like you to have available the following:

  • Job description
  • Personal development plan
  • Recent performance statistics
  • Biography/CV
  • Any available company promotional material that they can take away for use in the awards programme and post awards PR.

The judges will be working through a structured interview pack, and it is this information which will be summarised and used as the basis for discussion by the judging panel.
